April 8, 2019: #Haiku

Walking down this trail
Raindrops passing through the trees
Seattle’s springtime

Cherry Blossoms at UW

These cherry blossoms

Thousands of people descend

Seattle’s springtime

Tuesday Morning: Today’s Haiku

It’s not yet dawn

No light over the mountains

And I’m now awake

It’s Tuesday morning. A new day arises. What are you going to do with it?

A Monday Early Morning HaikuĀ

A street shines just outside my window. The quiet of this suburb, both home and alien.

In Motion

Dreams of motion

Cars and vans, across deserts

Sunlight’s glaring strength

The forces of life drive hard

Each day waking

I’m the same bed

With different views

Outside this glass

Wheels sparkle in the day

Transitions happen

My body wants to sleep, but not my mind

Now the night moves in

My body wanting to sleep

My mind resisting

Flowers: sharing a poem from O at the edges

via Flowers

A lovely poem

I delight in flower’s grace

Words of elegance

A Monday fearĀ

Nervousness wakes me

A meeting with high pressure

I’m lacking self-trust

A #midnight #haiku

In this deep darkness
As this day transformed to new
This eerie silence?
