A Good Night Haiku

A summer’s evening haiku

through the summer’s sun

life drips down upon the earth

bees sing merrily

Early Morning #Haiku, July 20, 2020

in the morning air

humanity is silent

I hear the birds sing

July is marching past. August approaches quickly. I doubt I’ll be ready, but the universe doesn’t care. Always forward motion, I do my best to prepare.

This Evening’s Haiku

gravity’s demand
even the sun can’t resist
calmness comes with night

Summer Afternoon Haiku

Daisey on my walk, June 25, 2020

call of summer light

feeding of vigorous life

ready for fresh rains

A Summertime Haiku

jaunty tunes

wheels bearing

iced confections

Summertime is upon us. It’s definitely arrived in Seattle, though looks like it might pause this weekend. I hope you’re feeling the pleasent joys summer brings.
