Morning Meditation: A Life You’re Proud Of

Do the best you can

Live a life you are proud of

And have no regrets

I woke with this idea, a strong voice in my head. This is how to live a life with no regrets. Always do the best work you can. Always seek actions that you are proud of. Then you’ll have nothing to be ashamed of.

Yeah, I often make things too complex

I often get wound up over the details in life. Seeking out the details can go to far and I simply add complexity.

When I hurt my arm, instead of looking for the best medicine cocktail, I need to do slap some ice in it. The sooner the better.

Tonight’s haiku: about seeking tranquility

I stand in the night

Breathing against all my fears

Tranquility sought

Tonight I’m seeking to calm my fears. My meditations upon tranquility are focusing on actually completing things.

A Meditation About Dreams

Oblivion’s edge
Looking downwards from the moon
Glimpsing into dreams

The interesting “thinks” that came through my brain.

A Good Morning Haiku For You

Sunlight’s debuting
Early morning darkness fades
Sounds of spring arise

Watching the dawn inch forward inspired this haiku. I anthropomorphise the sun, imagining pride and delight as humanity stirs underneath the reborn warmth. Perhaps there’s even love for us as we reawaken our striving.

So, here’s to a new day, it’s blessed possibilities, and all the potential you bring.

The Dark Before Dawn

Still dark
No hints of dawn
Yet I know
It will come

I am awake in the early morning, pondering all that troubles me.

Staring Into The Abyss: Tonight’s Haiku

As I stare into
The abyss, eyes peering back
A gaze, which is mine

My Journals, My Heart

It pains me
Envisioning my journals
Beloved words capturing my soul
Mouldering in my absence
As I fade to dust
